The Best Top 5 Gaming Keyboards For 2020

What’s up guys I’m Sabbir from Sark Computer. The article on the best top 5 gaming keyboards from 2020. factoring things like sales overall feedback in my personal opinion and giving you guys a list of the best of the best from the past year. If you want to check any of them out I’ll put a link for you in the article below as well as some honorable mentions and stuff like that.

So first off is a keyboard pretty much in its own category the only one really like it on this list

1: Logitech G915 Lightspeed Keyboard

Logitech G915 Lightspeed Keyboard

The Logitech G 915 Lightspeed very thin wireless mechanical keyboard and with the advancement of wireless technology over the past few years. There’s no excuse to scoff at a wireless keyboard anymore. In Logitech they’re you know they’re Lightspeed technology, you are getting an ultra-fast one millisecond response time. So you don’t have to worry about this interrupting you during your gameplay. You will not be able to tell the difference between a wired and a wireless connection. Here also a common concern with wireless keyboards is battery life this is rated for 30 hours at full 100% brightness. So you’re getting great battery life overall. The board itself is a brushed aluminum nice and thin with a low profile design. So check it out in terms of physical features on the board. You have five dedicated macro keys. On the left side, there are the G keys as they call them. You also have three onboard profiles, you can switch between and an onboard macro recorder. Then over on the right side of the board, you have dedicated multimedia controls and a nice scrolling volume wheel. Now it’s also great about this is Logitech gives you three different key switch options their very own GL clicky GL tactile and GL linear.

So the fact that we have these low profile mechanical switches in here is really cool plus the fact you can pick between three to fit you. You know your certain preference of gameplay and typing and since they’re low-profile they have a shorter travel distance byOck’s waiting at 1.5 millimeters. The total travel distance of two-point seven millimeters. So in my unit here I have GLlinear which is their read linear switch. The particular switch sounds again the G 9:15 Lightspeed a very thin ultra-low-profile wireless mechanical keyboard definitely.

The best of its kind on the market right now again you factor in the three different switch types the fact that it has 30hours of battery life at a full 100%brightness with the RGB dedicated. You know macro Keys multimedia controls and the fact that it’s just a one millisecond response time over the lightspeed technology, that can also pair a second Bluetooth device if you want to have this go to two different devices at once.

SteelSeries Apex Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

At number two on this list is Steel Series apex pros come out during the summer. And it’s another one of the keyboards that’s in its own kind of category on this list. Because of their analog switches with their customizable Omni point switches. So this gives you the option to pretty much have the world’s fastest mechanical keyboard, allowing for customization of the actuation distance from point four millimeters to three-point six millimeters. These linear arena point switches are rated for 100 billion keypresses as well. So they’re highly durable so in terms of physical features pretty much everything can be controlled here from the top right-hand side of the keyboard, where you have this sort of smart button and dial utilizing that OLED screen right next to it here. You can do things like change up songs through Spotify adjust the volume for your midi controls change the keyboard brightness a bunch of other settings as well which I’ll link to the keyboard like she’s you’ve got profiles the RGB lighting even load up some graphics and gifts. But here is where you can also control and adjust your Omni point switches on the fly.

So you don’t really need the software you can do it all just right here on the board and something noteworthy things is on the backside we have a USB pass-through and the keyboard comes to the detachable rubberized wrist rest and again we’ll doa sound test of the linear Omni point switches. So, in the end, it’s a really great keyboard in the analog keyboard category like I said definitely one of the best of 2020 out there only thing to point out though about this is that the main 60 keys are the Omni point switches everything else on. This keyboard is a red linear switch this retails for $200and again let’s hope that drops in price and buy link.

The Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is an excellent RGB-lit gaming keyboard. It has proprietary Logitech GX Blue Clicky switches, which offer great tactile and audible feedback. There’s a small bump before the actuation force, which requires a bit more force than most tactile switches that we’ve tested so far. This keyboard is very well-built and has a great overall typing experience, but if you can’t stand the clickiness of blue switches, you might want to look at another keyboard or get the tactile, but quieter Romer-G switches variant.

Razer Huntsmen TE Keyboard

number 2 on this list is the Razer Huntsman tournament edition. And this is probably razors best keyboard to date they made a lot of ofgreat improvements listened to community feedback then, in the end, gave us one of the best keyboards out there. It’s always good to know when a company is listening and the fact they made a ton of popular changes to this is a step in the right direction every day of the week. Taking a look at it the Tikal layout here is a personal favor I always prefer this kind of layout looks more compact on a desktop and it’s a pretty clean design. It’s made with an aluminum top plate for improved durability and it feels pretty solid as well.

Now getting into those new features first up we have brand new PBT double-shot keycaps. they’re more durable there’s no ugly gamer font on them and they have a nice texture to boil resistant as they. say next is a standard bottom row finally. this means that you can use you know any other keycap sets you may already have and it’s actually gonna fit the bottom row which is why I’m using different colored keycaps is to show you that it’s actually a possibility now. the third improvement is a USB type-c port. it might seem little but it’s the fact that they’re listening we’ve been requesting USB type-c for years and now we haven’t. The last new feature this keyboard are their brand new linear optomechanical switches. We saw the clicky purple optima chemical switch and they’re huntsman elite keyboard from last year. Now we have a red linear option but these switches are much faster than a traditional linear mechanical switch with a shorter actuation distance at just one millimeter. We have a durability rating of up to 100 million clicks plus a 2-year warranty on the keyboard again with the optomechanical switches it’s not relying on a traditional you know metal to metal contact to actually transport the signal to your PC. it’s all done through infrared light beams the second is actuated the signal is sent immediately to your PC.

We’ll do a sound test with the linear optimal canticle switches. see you factor in all the changes they made and it’s just a really good step in the right direction big thumbs up for razer here for listening to all the feedback over the years and giving us a keyboard with features that people have been asking for quite some time. Not overcharging either it’s a hundred and thirty dollars which is more than fair a really great price point for a really really great keyboard.

The Obinslab Anne Pro 2 is a remarkable gaming keyboard. This 60% compact keyboard feels very well-built and looks sleek in most computer setups. Every key on it can be fully programmed, and it has fully customizable RGB lighting behind each key. While this keyboard is available with a wide variety of switch options, our unit uses Gateron Brown switches, which give a good amount of feedback and travel without being too loud, and give the keyboard an overall excellent typing experience. Unfortunately, the small size can cause fatigue after long typing sessions, and the lack of arrow keys may bother some.

Note: Though our unit uses Gateron Brown switches, this keyboard is also available with multiple varieties of Cherry MX, Gateron, and Kailh switches. While we haven’t tested with other switch types, we expect most results to remain similar, except for the typing experience.
